The Mahar Regional Senators basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Athol Bears to 36 in the Senators non-league victory on Friday.

The Senators now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quaboag Regional for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17.

The Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mahar Regional (Orange, MA). The Senators come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
