Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA), 57-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Harlan upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Kuemper (Carroll, IA) to play the Knights in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Monday, January 16. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Kuemper lost 66-37 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Atlantic will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 59-23 league loss to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA).
