The Audubon Wheelers basketball team (Audubon, IA), was overwhelmed 44-18 in Friday's league battle with the host Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA)
The Trojans (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Shenandoah smashed Clarinda (Clarinda, IA), 47-29, in a league outing.
The Wheelers now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Exira-EHK for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Audubon will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 54-38 league win over Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-2.
