With the victory, Cross Plains upgrades its record to 21-4 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host May (May, TX) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 16-9. May won 52-9 in their recent league bout against Moran (Moran, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Rising Star Wildcats (Rising Star, TX) in a 1A Region II District 13 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Baird will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 72-17 league loss to Eula (Clyde, TX).
