Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Incline Highlanders (Incline Village, NV), 50-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Battle Mountain upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Longhorns travel to North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA) to clash with the Lakers in a 2A Northern bout on Saturday, January 14. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 7-4. North Tahoe won 44-19 in their recent league bout against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV)

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) in a 2A Northern bout, on Saturday, January 14. Incline will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 44-19 league loss to North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA).
