In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Beacon Bulldogs basketball team scored a decisive 44-19 triumph over the Monticello Panthers.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 17. Beacon will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record.
With the defeat, Monticello moves to 3-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY) to meet the Raiders in a Section 9 Orange County III match on Tuesday, January 17. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 1-4. Port Jervis lost 58-21 in their recent league match against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY)
