The Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) basketball felled the host Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI), 35-26 in Friday's league test.

The Aggies (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Lakeview was beaten by Reed City (Reed City, MI), 61-24, in a league test.

The Bucks now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Michigan Christian for a Highland test on Tuesday, January 17. Pine River Area will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 56-30 league loss to Lake City (Lake City, MI). The Comets record now stands at 1-6.
