Nevada High School Basketball - Beatty overwhelmed by Lund

The Lund Mustangs basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Beatty Hornets to 16 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pahranagat Valley for a 1A Central contest on Tuesday, January 17. Lund will battle a Panthers team coming off a 32-27 league win over Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
The Hornets (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Tonopah (Tonopah, NV). The Muckers come into the 1A Central contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Tonopah triumphed over Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV), 37-32, in a league contest.
