The Beaverton Beavers basketball team (Beaverton, MI), was nudged 33-29 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI)
The Flying G's now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Standish-Sterling for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Gladwin will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-53 non-league win over Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.
The Beavers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Breckenridge edged Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI), 44-29, in a league battle.
