Marshall Cardinals (Marshall, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Belleville Wildcats (Belleville, WI), 46-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Cardinals host Clinton (Clinton, WI) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Clinton lost 62-58 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Jefferson, WI)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Belleville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Pointers go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 71-25 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI).
