In Friday's league match, the host Fountain Inn Fury basketball team scored a good 67-51 triumph over the Belton-Honea Path Bears.
In their next game, the Fury meet the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) in a AAA Region 2 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Fountain Inn will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 7-10 record after their 68-26 league loss to Wren (Piedmont, SC).
With the defeat, Belton-Honea Path moves to 2-12 on the year. The Bears host Southside (Greenville, SC) to meet the Tigers in a AAA Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 16-2. Southside lost 58-52 in their recent non-league match against Concord Academy (Concord, NC)
