Alabama High School Basketball - Chilton County thwarts Benjamin Russell

January 13, 2023: Clanton, AL 35045

The Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL), 57-39 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (16-8) will now prepare for their test against Calera (Calera, AL). The Eagles go into the 6A Area 5 test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Calera went down by Pelham (Pelham, AL), 51-24, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Auburn for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17.
