California High School Basketball - Big Valley Christian crushes Venture Academy

Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA), 39-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Big Valley Christian upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Turlock Christian (Turlock, CA) to play the Eagles in a Central California Athletic Alliance test on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-10. Turlock Christian lost 41-11 in their recent league test against Stone Ridge Christian (Merced, CA)

The Mustangs now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Millennium for a Central California Athletic Alliance test on Tuesday, January 17. Venture Academy will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 49-35 league win over Elliot Christian (Lodi, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 13-4.
