Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) and the host Parish Episcopal Panthers (Dallas, TX), saw Bishop Lynch's basketball squad hold off Parish Episcopal by a count of 45-43.

With the victory, Bishop Lynch upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Friars host Ursuline Academy (Dallas, TX) to play the Bears in a TAPPS 6A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 11-11.

Next up, the Panthers play the Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Parish Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 20-8 record after their 61-22 league win over Trinity Christian (Addison, TX).
