Bismarck Lions (Bismarck, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR), 42-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Bismarck upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Lions travel to Centerpoint (Amity, AR) to play the Knights in a 3A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Curley Wolves play the Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR) in a 3A Region 7 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Prescott will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
