The Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) basketball crushed the host Blessed Trinity Titans (Roswell, GA), 80-54 in Friday's league test.
The Greyhounds (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the AAAAAA Region 7 test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Sprayberry was trounced by Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA), 53-32, in a league test.
The Titans now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Johns Creek for a AAAAAA Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 17. Blessed Trinity will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 53-32 league win over Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 13-5.
