Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA), 58-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Greenforest upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Washington (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Washington won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Walker (Marietta, GA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Wadley Bulldogs (Wadley, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Bowdon will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 59-57 non-league win over Woodland (Woodland, AL).
