Texas High School Basketball - Bridge City knocked off by Lumberton

The Lumberton Raiders basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Bridge City Cardinals to 43 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vidor for a 4A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Lumberton will battle a Pirates team coming off a 40-24 league win over Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 10-11.
The Cardinals (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Mustangs enter the 4A Region III District 19 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, West Orange-Stark was defeated by Silsbee (Silsbee, TX), 68-35, in a league contest.
