North Carolina High School Basketball - Newton-Conover trounces Bunker Hill

The Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 76-15 in Friday's league test.

The Red Devils (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Blue Devils go into the 2A Conference 45 test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Maiden walloped Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 72-48, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Bandys for a 2A Conference 45 test on Tuesday, January 17. Bunker Hill will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 52-46 league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-9.
