North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont Classical holds off Carlisle

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) and the visiting Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), saw Piedmont Classical's basketball squad hold off Carlisle by a tally of 33-30.
With the victory, Piedmont Classical improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Winston-Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Lions in a CAASC Central Carolina - West challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 22-3.
Next up, the Chiefs confront the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 35-29 league loss to Bassett (Bassett, VA).
