The Carolina International Comets basketball team (Concord, NC), was nudged 19-12 in Friday's league battle with the host Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC)

The Wildcats now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cabarrus Charter for a 1A Conference 38 battle on Wednesday, January 18. Sugar Creek will confront a Huskies team coming off a 72-14 league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 0-11.

The Comets (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions come into the 1A Conference 38 battle with a 4-8 record.
