Texas High School Basketball - Vandegrift can't hold off Cedar Ridge

The Cedar Ridge Raiders basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the host Vandegrift Vipers to 29 in the Raiders league victory on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Rock for a 6A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Cedar Ridge will battle a Dragons team coming off a 56-38 league loss to McNeil (Austin, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 21-7.
The Vipers (7-19) will now prepare for their contest against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Rangers come into the 6A Region IV District 25 contest with a 18-8 record. In their last contest, Vista Ridge edged Manor (Manor, TX), 64-56, in a league contest.
