With the victory, Sonoraville improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA) to play the Bruins in a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Northwest Whitfield won 43-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Cedartown will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 57-32 league loss to Model (Rome, GA).
