The Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX), 32-26 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX). The Wolves go into the 2A Region II District 14 test with a 20-9 record. In their last test, Wolfe City got by Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX), 55-41, in a league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 8-17 record. They play next when they travel to Whitewright for a 2A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, January 17.
