New Mexico High School Basketball - Jemez Valley trounces Chesterton Academy

The Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM), 52-18 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Hozho Academy was trounced by Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM), 66-34, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Legacy Academy for a A District 7 test on Tuesday, January 17. Chesterton Academy will encounter a Silverbacks squad coming off a 65-33 non-league loss to To'hajiilee (To'hajiilee, NM). The Silverbacks record now stands at 3-6.
