North Carolina High School Basketball - Christ Covenant can't hold off Victory Christian

The Victory Christian Eagles basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the visiting Christ Covenant Spartan to 26 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Suffolk Christian Academy for a North Carolina Christian - North contest on Tuesday, January 17. Victory Christian will battle a Knights team coming off a 32-16 non-league loss to Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-8.
The Spartan (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Community Christian (Wilson, NC). The Cyclones come into the North Carolina Christian - 2A South contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Community Christian was nudged by Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC), 53-33, in a non-league contest.
