In Friday's league outing, the Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX), by a margin of 81-20.

The Broncos (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Shamrock (Shamrock, TX). The Irish go into the 2A Region I District 2 outing with a 5-10 record. In their last outing, Shamrock was trounced by Quanah (Quanah, TX), 63-34, in a league outing.

The Cyclones now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeler for a 2A Region I District 2 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Memphis will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 61-18 league loss to Wellington (Wellington, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-8.
