Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA), 71-68 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarke upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Albia (Albia, IA) to clash with the Blue Demons in a South Central bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) in a South Central bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Knoxville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record.
