The Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) basketball felled the host Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), 46-37 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons go into the District 16 test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Monroe County thwarted Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY), 52-37, in a league test.
The Lakers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Barren County for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Russell County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 50-32 league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 12-2.
