The Contra Costa Christian Cougars basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Holy Names Monarchs to 24 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host California Crosspoint for a Bay Counties - General contest on Tuesday, January 17. Contra Costa Christian will battle a Rams team coming off a 34-19 non-league win over Oakland Military Institute (Oakland, CA). The Rams record now stands at 3-4.

The Monarchs (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA). The Marlins come into the Bay Counties - General contest with a 2-7 record.
