Alabama High School Basketball - Geneva County knocked off by Cottonwood

The Cottonwood Bears basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Geneva County Bulldogs to 42 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wicksburg for a 2A Area 2 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Cottonwood will battle a Panthers team coming off a 41-34 league loss to Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Paxton (Paxton, FL). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record.
