The Cowboys (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas go into the 3A Region IV District 28 test with a 16-10 record. In their last test, Crystal City notched a victory over Hondo (Hondo, TX), 55-42, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 6-20 record. They play next when they host Dilley for a 3A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, January 17. Natalia will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 82-26 league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 0-11.
