The Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) basketball crushed the host Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX), 74-34 in Friday's league test.
The Pirates (16-10) will now prepare for their test against Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region II District 14 test with a 13-15 record. In their last test, Corsicana was trounced by Terrell (Terrell, TX), 77-53, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 4-22 record. They play next when they travel to Red Oak for a 5A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, January 17. Ennis will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 44-41 league win over Crandall (Crandall, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 13-10.
