The White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) basketball felled the host Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA), 52-39 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians go into the AAA Region 7 test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Lumpkin County thwarted Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 54-45, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wesleyan for a AAA Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 17. Dawson County will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 64-20 non-league win over Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 14-2.
