With the win, Dawson upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Bulldogs host Bremond (Bremond, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Bremond won 44-29 in their recent league bout against Hubbard (Hubbard, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Axtell Longhorns (Axtell, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Wortham will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 14-11 record after their 42-30 league win over Marlin (Marlin, TX).
