The De Anza Dons basketball team (El Sobrante, CA), was overwhelmed 53-7 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA)

The Panthers now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Francis Parker for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Saint Mary's will confront a Lancers team coming off a 57-37 league win over Bishop's (La Jolla, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 10-4.

The Dons (1-15) will now prepare for their battle against St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Bruins come into the Tri-County - Rock battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, St. Patrick-St. Vincent was overwhelmed by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 59-53, in a non-league battle.
