The Eastern Hills Highlanders basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles to 27 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Young Women's Leadership Academy for a 4A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Eastern Hills will battle a Lady Owls team coming off a 65-31 league loss to Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX). The Lady Owls record now stands at 9-7.

The Eagles (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Cougars enter the 4A Region II District 9 contest with a 3-17 record.
