North Carolina High School Basketball - West Lincoln overwhelmed by East Burke

The West Lincoln Rebels basketball team (Lincolnton, NC), was overwhelmed 68-37 in Friday's league battle with the host East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC)

The Cavaliers now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Caldwell for a 2A Conference 45 battle on Tuesday, January 17. East Burke will meet a Warriors team coming off a 52-46 league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-11.

With the defeat, West Lincoln moves to 10-5 on the year. The Rebels host Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to meet the Wolves in a 2A Conference 45 match on Tuesday, January 17. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 3-11. Lincolnton lost 72-48 in their recent league match against Maiden (Maiden, NC)
