With the victory, Elizabethton improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Fighting Cyclones host Science Hill (Johnson City, TN) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Science Hill lost 70-41 in their recent league challenge against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Unicoi County will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 48-37 league win over Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN).
