In Friday's league outing, the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), by a margin of 95-20.
The Matadors (16-9) will now prepare for their outing against Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Lobos go into the 4A Region I District 5 outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Levelland smashed Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX), 61-20, in a league outing.
The Chiefs now own a 2-19 record. They play next when they host Big Spring for a 4A Region I District 5 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Lake View will clash with a Steers squad coming off a 67-23 league loss to Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Steers record now stands at 6-15.
