    • Texas High School Basketball - Reedy can't hold off Frisco

    The Frisco Raccoons basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Reedy Lions to 51 in the Raccoons league triumph on Friday.

    The Raccoons now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newman Smith for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Frisco will battle a Trojans team coming off a 44-36 league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 8-13.

    The Lions (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines enter the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 9-20 record. In their last contest, Wakeland was nudged by The Colony (The Colony, TX), 52-27, in a league contest.
