Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA), 46-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Glascock County upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA) to play the Warriors in a A D2 Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-14. Wilkinson County lost 48-16 in their recent non-league bout against Portal (Portal, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Hancock Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 65-40 non-league loss to Screven County (Sylvania, GA).
