Hartford Orioles (Hartford, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Grafton Black Hawks (Grafton, WI), 59-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hartford upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI) to play the Bulldogs in a North Shore bout on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Cedarburg lost 70-65 in their recent league bout against Homestead (Mequon, WI)

Next up, the Black Hawks play the Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Grafton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 59-35 league win over Catholic Central (Burlington, WI).
