The Granger Lions basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Holland Hornets to 29 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hearne for a 2A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Granger will meet a Eagles team coming off a 41-37 league win over Thorndale (Thorndale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 22-8.

The Hornets (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bartlett (Bartlett, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region IV District 27 contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Bartlett was outscored by Granger (Granger, TX), 35-32, in a league contest.
