Wells Guardians (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR), 55-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Wells upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Guardians host Grant (Portland, OR) to clash with the Generals in a 6A Portland bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Grant won 44-42 in their recent league bout against Franklin (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Mountain Lions clash with the Grant Generals (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland bout, on Thursday, January 26. McDaniel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record.
