Georgia High School Basketball - John Hancock Academy trounces Monsignor Donovan Catholic

The John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA) basketball crushed the host Monsignor Donovan Catholic Rams (Athens, GA), 42-15 in Friday's league test.
The Rebels (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Twiggs Academy was trounced by Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA), 42-26, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson Academy for a GIAA A Region 4 test on Friday, January 20. Monsignor Donovan Catholic will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 68-35 non-league loss to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-9.
