Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) and the visiting Josey Eagles (Augusta, GA), saw Thomson's basketball squad hold off Josey by a tally of 36-32.

With the victory, Thomson improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Butler (Augusta, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AA Region 4B challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Butler won 48-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenbrier (Evans, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Valor Christian Lions (Alpharetta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Josey will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 45-26 non-league loss to Central Pointe Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL).
