Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), 40-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Libertyville upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Kenwood (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Kenwood lost 67-55 in their recent non-league bout against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Corsairs go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 47-40 non-league win over Huntley (Huntley, IL).
