The Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros basketball team (Garden Grove, CA), was nudged 47-43 in Friday's league battle with the host Loara Saxons (Anaheim, CA)
The Saxons now possess a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bolsa Grande for a Garden Grove battle on Wednesday, January 18. Loara will confront a Matadors team coming off a 33-18 league loss to La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 6-14.
The Vaqueros (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Santiago (Garden Grove, CA). The Cavaliers come into the Garden Grove battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Santiago edged Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA), 45-36, in a league battle.
