Northwood Gators (Lena, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Logansport Tigers (Logansport, LA), 89-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northwood upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Lafayette Christian Academy won 53-24 in their recent non-league bout against Carencro (Lafayette, LA)

Next up, the Tigers play the LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA) in a 1A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Logansport will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 51-49 league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, LA).
